I hope that 2013 is treating all of you well so far!
You may have noticed some changes going on around here... I thought it was time that Watch Out, Martha! got a new, simplified look. What do you think? We're still working on a few different things/finishing touches, but I love it so far!
I'm going back to school tomorrow, and this quarter I'm taking Chocolate, Confections, & Centerpieces on Mondays/Tuesdays; and Latin Cuisine on Fridays. I'm super excited! It's not as many credits as last quarter was, so I'm hoping that it won't disturb my blogging schedule as much, but who knows!
The end of winter break means I had to haul all my stuff that I took out of storage and sorted back to the unit (if you follow me on Instagram, you know what I'm talking about). I didn't get all the way finished, but I did find some of the items that were listed in my Etsy shop before the move! This means I can finally take the shop off vacation mode and get it active again. I'm hoping to get that up and running in the next week or so! :)
I also started going to a Cross Fit "gym" (my normal gym routines were getting a little boring and I wanted a new challenge) and holy smokes - that stuff whips your butt! I could barely move on Friday, it was hilarious to see me walking around! I am really enjoying the workouts though, so I'll keep going back.
So, in a nutshell, 2013 is treating me well so far. I might be singing a different tune after the first week of school, but I hope not :)
Now, on to the party!
Linda at With A Blast shared with us these super cute, and easy to make, New Years Candles. It's the little details that really make a party!
Don't these Chocolate Chip Kahlua Cookies from Half Baked Harvest look absolutely to die for!? I will for SURE be making these the next time I get a craving for some cookies!
And the most popular post of the week goes to...
These absolutely adorable Christmas Pudding Oreo Truffles from Cath's Cookery Creations! (Are they no the most adorable things you've ever seen!?)
Please respect the “Inner - Martha” vibe and stick to recipes, DIY projects, crafts, and other creative things.
