Ah yes, it's that time of year again.. NEW YEAR'S EVE!
Where in the world has 2012 gone??
This year has certainly flown by for me... It was full of adventures like finally starting culinary school, returning home to north Florida, and an unfortunate divorce - just to name a few.
Part of me is sad 2012 is ending because that means I'm that much older (I think I'm getting to the age where I do NOT want to have another birthday. 30 is closing in on me awfully fast!) but at the same time, 2013 will be a fresh start for me. I already have several things in the works for the year, which I'll be sharing with you all later on.
For now, I'd like to share a few inspirational ideas from around the web for this New Year's Eve!
I love how you can customize this idea to match whatever color scheme you have going on. You could also spell out things other than just the year. The possibilities are endless!
Champagne marshmallows combined with high quality chocolate and homemade graham crackers would make for a super classy s'mores bar, don't you think? And we all know how much I love s'mores!
Cheers Gold Glitter Banner - $36.00 via Etsy
This "Cheers" banner is just so fun, and again you can match it to your color scheme if you make it yourself. Super easy and quick to do, although I'd dress up the yarn/ribbon/rope/whatever a little more to make it a bit more festive!
This is one of my favorite NYE ideas! This is the first time I'd seen it done (thank you, Pinterest!) and I think it's just lovely. Fortune cookies are super cheap to buy AND super easy to make if you wanted to include more personalized or NYE themed fortunes for your guests.
I love! champagne splits. I think they are so adorable and fun it's insane (it's the little things in life y'all). Again, you can use cute straws and ribbon to coordinate with your party theme. Or, you could put them in a favor bag with some cute NYE themed cookies or something along those lines and have them as parting gifts for the party goers. And luckily, they also come in sparkling cider (non-alcoholic) for any under 21/non-drinking guests.
What sort of fun items do you have planned for this year? Will you be going out or will you host a party at your place?

Loving all these ideas!! Especially the fortune cookies toast! I love a good party even if its only for two:)
