1. I moved to Florida! It was a tough decision to make, but the Art Institute has a campus in Jacksonville, about 45 minutes away from where I grew up. T and I decided that the move would be the best for me to finish up my degree, since staying in San Antonio wasn't working out as we had hoped. We thought we were going to see eachother every/every other weekend, and that just wasn't happening. If we were lucky, we saw eachother one weekend every 4-6 weeks, and the last couple weekends we saw eachother, it wasn't even for the whole weekend - just a few hours. So, the dogs and I packed up our stuff and moved out here. It was a rough move with it being just me and the dogs, with a trailer and whatnot, but we made it safe and sound.
2. I dropped my laptop the other day (a week ago today, actually) and it's done sauce. Once I'm settled in I'm going to try and get it repaired or replaced, whichever is more logical. For now I'm using my iPhone and my mom's computer, but neither really has the capabilities for blogging at the moment. I promise I will return as soon as I can!! Until then, you can always follow me on Instagram (sugar1857) to see what sort of nifty things I'm up to, and what projects/recipes are in the works for when I'm back up and running!

ReplyDeleteIn case you are tempted, I thought I would let you know about a serious limitation with the iPad: you can only work in one window at a time. So if you are like me, editing photos, writing text, doing research and streaming entertainment all at once, the iPad is not for you. I hope you find a system that works out soon!
Thanks for the advice! I'm currently working on a borrowed laptop, which so far is going ok I suppose. I really need to get my poor laptop fixed!!
