First of all, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the first ever Martha Mondays last week! It was so much fun to see the links come in, and I swear I squealed with delight on more than several occasions when I checked on the party's progress.
Before we get started on this week's party, I'd like to highlight a few of my favorite links from last week.
But first, in full disclosure, there were several projects that I wanted to feature this week, but sadly Martha Mondays was not linked back in the posts, or even on the main 'blog party' type page, if there was one. This makes me super sad because I don't think it's too much to ask. I link up my projects at parties all the time, and I make sure I mention each and every party in the post I linked up. It only takes a minute, even less if you're linking up to a lot of parties at one time.
I hate to not feature a great project that I really enjoyed, but I gotta stick to my guns on this one. I hope you understand, and please take the time to link back to your host/hostess when you participate in link parties.
Now let's get to the good stuff!
Don't you just love Amy Butler fabrics? I do, and Soul Blossoms is pretty much the best of the best in my opinion. Shaylynn at Oxford Impressions used the fabric to make this amazing graduation string quilt. I'm wondering if when I graduate from culinary school next spring, if she'll make me one? ;)
Mandy at This Girl's Life made a fantastic Urban Outfitters wall art knockoff. I love a good knockoff project, and this is one of my favorites so far. I think her version is way better than the original!
I might not have a little girl's room to spruce up like Holly at House by Holly, but I still love these pom pom string lights! I think they would be perfect decor for a summer get-together or a bridal shower, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Cath at Dunnn to Perfection made this super cute "Where is the green sheep" cake. Whereas I'm thinking it must be a children's book based on the post, I really have no idea! Don't give me that look, I have dogs - not kids - and neither one of them reads! :) However, all that aside, this cake is just adorable!
And the most popular link goes to...
Melonberry Lemonade from Baking with Blondie! I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest watermelon person out there, but this does look mighty tasty! I love the suggestion of using 7 Up as well - a little bit of carbonation goes a long way with a refreshing drink like this!
If
you’d like to Pin any of this week’s featured posts, please visit the original
blog and Pin from there. They deserve proper credit for all of their hard work
and creativity!
Thanks again to everyone that linked up last week! If you were featured, feel free to grab the button on my sidebar and do a little bragging - you deserve it!
Now for the party details…
Feel free to
submit as many links as you wish – but please respect the “Inner - Martha” vibe
and stick to recipes, DIY projects, crafts, and other creative things.
Any link that does fit in these types of
categories will be deleted.
My favorite submissions, as well as the
most popular submission, will be featured on the next week’s party.
The party will be open from 12:01am on
Monday(s) to 11:59pm on Wednesday(s). Come back every week and link up your
best creative posts from the week!
